Another layout with Cozy Quiet by Andilynn Designs

Hello, today is the first day of the Book Fair in Thailand. I'm going tomorrow for seeing my fans (if I do have, lol). I'm so excited because it has been six years since I got my last book published.

I'm too excited that I couldn't sleep. So here am I scrapping another layout. I've chosen Andilynn Designs kit, Cozy Quiet to work with. I love the neutral colors with some pop of coral pink and blue in this kit, and also the vintage feel in the kit. You can find this kit at ScrapMatters.

I also have another layout which I scrapped before I had the problem with my computer. I've used Krystal Hartley and Amber Shaw's collab, the Story of Us.

The Story of Us by Krystal Hartley and Amber Shaw

While some places have had snow, here in Thailand is very hot. I heard that the temperature in some places are about 40 degree. I really want to melt when I walk under the sun. It is too sunny!!!

Will be back with more layouts to show you soon!

Have a great day!

I got my computer back!!!

Last week was such a boring week for me because my computer wouldn't start up. Normally when there are problems with the computer, my hubby would be looking into the problem and fix it. But he was so busy that had no time to fix it for me until the day before that I was a little cranky with my girl because she wouldn't let me work on the laptop.

It's school holiday now so my dd is at home with me, and she usually watch cartoons on the computer. So I had to work on the laptop instead, but only with Microsoft Word or searching around the internet since it is too slow to play with PS.

When the computer wouldn't start up, it means that I couldn't scrap at all. So the first thing when I got my computer back is scrap!

And here's my layout with Jennifer Labre's last week new release, Flourish available at ScrapMatters. I love the deep bold colors in this kit.

Hope to have more layouts coming this week.

She Kit & Bits by Amy Stoffel, and a challenge at SM

It's Friday (already Saturday here where I live)!
Last month and the first week of March was very busy for me since I had to finish my book. The deadline was February 28th, but I've asked for a few more days late. Had very less sleep during those few days to get it all done. It will be published and will be ready for the Book fair that is around the end of March.

Now, I'm preparing for my next book, not one but two this time. One for the same publishing company and one for another. So I'll be very, very busy soon.

For today, I've got one layout done for Amy Stoffel's new kit that I am so in love with. It has a touch of Art Journaling in it. So if you are in the 'art journaling' mood, you will love this kit.

Here's my layout with both She : kit and She : bits by Amy Stoffel, both are available in her shop at ScrapMatters.

I am also hosting a challenge. It is a Tuesday Template Challenge where you'll get a freebie template to play with. Here's my template.

You can grab the template and read about the rules here. There's still plenty of time to jump in and play with us. I've also made a layout with this template using Litabells Desings kit, Sunshine in My Soul.

The girl in the photo is my daughter on her 5th birthday (March 5th) while she was blowing the candles on her birthday cake. She blew it the second time already. She told me that it is the best day in her life and she loves it.

Hope you all have a great weekend, and don't forget to stop be ScrapMatters forum to join us or see what's new in the shop. There are so many yummy goodies, that I wish I had more time to scrap.

Til next time!

A little scrap theraphy for me!

I've been busy lately since I'm trying to finish my sixth novel. The deadline is today but I still have about 20 pages to go. Anyway I did find some scrapping time.

My daughter's birthday is getting closer (March 5th) and she will be five. I just can't believe how time flies and how fast she is growing. Sometime I really just don't want her to grow any bigger. I miss my baby. :(

I made this layout using Adorable Pixels kit, Perfect Little Princess. It is perfect for any little girl who dreams to be a princess, lol.

Here's a layout I scrapped last week using Dream Land Part2 Templates by Eudura Designs.
and Soulful by the ScrapMatters Designers.

I also have another layout that I scrapped the week before but was too busy to post it here (actually there are a few more layouts I've scrapped this month). I've used Life Is Just So Daily Templates Vol. 1 by Cluster Queen Creations together with a Kit from Amy Stoffel, A Drop In The Ocean. I really love this kit of Amy's. It's so beautiful!

Okay, I'll have to go since I need to finish my book. So I can send the manuscript to my editor. He already gave me some extra days to work on it, and I don't want to disappoint him.

Have a great day!

First Layout for 2013 & The Little Things

Could you believe that I haven't scrap for weeks. I can't remember exactly how many weeks but it feels like forever, but at last I have my first layout for 2013 done, and I'm happy with it.

Before showing you my new layout, I would like you to see this new collection by Sugarplum Paperie, and Mari Koegelenberg called, The Little Things.

First, there is the main kit: The Little Things : Sweet:

Then there is the more romantic side of this collection in red, pink and black called The Little Things : Adore:

And lastly there is the softer, more neutral collection, The Little Things : Perfect:

Each kit is available separately, but you’ll save BIG when you purchase the entire The Little Things : Collection:

Isn't it beautiful!!! I haven't got a chance to play with it yet, but will be playing with it very soon and I'll come back to show you my layout made with this gorgeous collection.

Anyway here's my layout that I was talking about.

Home for the Holidays by Sugarplum Paperie and Stolen Moments, Heart Art : Take the Metro (background paper) by Sugarplum Paperie, Heart Art : A Delicate Situation by Sugarplum Paperie, and a few more elements from Tiny Princess (pink heart stamps) by Sugarplum Paperie, If Friends were Flowers (heart and paper doily) by Sugarplum Paperie & Zoe Pearn, Garden Party (butterfly) by Sugarplum Paperie & Mye De Leon, and also Mixed Messages Alpha Black by Sugarplum Paperie.

The photos are blurry as I took it while we were on the taxi but I love the emotion on Janice's face so much that it became my favorite set of photos. I also plan to print them and put it in my Project Life album. Yes, I'm going to give myself another try on Project Life, after I have failed last year. :)

Til nest time!

More Layouts and Updates

It's getting close to Christmas and that means another year is ending. I can't believe it at all. It's like time flies rather than rolling day by day.

I'm now retired from designing digital scrapbooking products. I'm not sure if I would get back to do it once again or not, but for now I will just say that I'm retired. Of cause, I do miss it as it was a part of my life for many years. Anyway I feel relief and more happy. I have more time to do some scrapping both digitally and paper scrapping (which I became to love).

Also I have more time to work on my book, my novel which I need to get it done by February next year.

Okay, I'll stop rambling and post the layouts I've made starting from the newest one for this week first. I love this kit from Mari and Zoe very much. I'm an secret admirer of Zoe. So everytime the designer I CT for get to collab with Zoe, I get very excited. I really hope she would have a CT call soon, lol.

Using Oh Happy Day by Mari Koegelenberg and Zoe Pearn

Below are layouts from a few weeks before.

Using Document Christmas The Collection by Mari Koegelenberg and Studio Basic

Using Welcome to the World by Sugarplum Paperie and Jenn Barrette, Mixed Media Mashups No. 1 , and The Alpha Files No. 20 by Krystal Hartley
Using A Happy Thought, Mixed Media Mashups No. 1, My Stamp Stash No. 7 by Krystal Hartley

Using Yesterday, Today and Forever by Juliana Kneipp and Sugarplum Paperie, and Mixed Media Mashups No. 2 by Krystal Hartley
I really want to turn some of these layouts to templates so I give it out as a freebie, but I'm so lazy to do so, lol.

But I've saved all the layouts as TIFF so I can turned them to templates later when I'm not so lazy.

I'll find sometime to show my December Daily project. It's not to Chrismas-y since we don't decorate our house with Christmas tree but it's a special time of the year that I would love to document.

Hope you all are having a great weekend. I do since we are having a long weekend here in Thailand.

Til next time, happy scrapping!
